ANOUKA- A BEAUTIFUL KANJIVARAM SILK SAREE IN PISTA GREEN AND PEACH, ZARI BORDER AND FULLY WOVEN FLORAL AANCHAL

I found this saree to be quite unusual. It is a powerloom weave which also made it more affordable. The design is horzontally divided into pista green and a pinkish peach( dual tone), the body is fully woven in geometric and floral designs which gives the body texture and the saree a lot of character. The thick plain zari border instantly adds glamour. I also love the aanchal with such delicately woven flowers, the pink showing through the peach as you move around, plus the little tassle detailing at the end. I just did not get a chance to wear this saree and happy to pass it forward as never worn. The saree gets you party/wedding ready in a jiffy.
