We were on a family holiday and walking through the streets of Kanchipuram. The saree appealed for its sheer elegance. We had limited money and so I was hesitant. But my children and husband could see how much I wanted the saree and insisted I buy. That was one of the highpoints of the holiday. The saree is in mint condition and I would love to pass it forward to someone who loves Kanjivarams as much as I do.
