This saree has always been a favourite. A beautiful and unusual dark pink hand woven Pochampally ikkat silk saree with a woven green colour border. I am told these sarees are rare to find now. I have worn this saree a few times and always compliments. People are also quite intrigued by the pattern and ask me a lot of questions about the weave. Always a conversation starter. I get to wear this saree only once in a couple of years so I am looking to give this saree to somone who appreciates the intricacies of the weave and will will wear it more often. The saree could then continue to spread its magic.
