BARSHA- A KANTHA SILK IN EARTH TONES WITH TRADITIONAL MOTIFS

I bought this saree during a visit to Shantiniketan. This beauty was painstakingly embroidered by a weaver couple who could barely make both ends meet. They seemed to have magic in their hands. I loved the colour palette which is a blend of earthy and sandy tones. And the traditional motifs. Makes it elegant for day wear and dinner evenings.
